Denis Donovan - President Print

Denis Donovan has over 20 years of engineering experience focused primarily in the field of power generation and its use for heavy industry. He was a founding principle of the Energy Assessment Center in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. Additionally he has worked to set up the Nevada Energy Team, the Nevada Office of the Industries of the Future, the Renewable Energy Project of Nevada, and the Facility Operator Certification for Utility Systems (FOCUS) program.

Denis speaks throughout the State of Nevada on Energy Efficiency and has been trained in the DOE Best Practices for Energy Efficiency. He has worked on renewable energy projects for off grid utilization as well as modeling techniques for both renewable energy and large energy systems. He has performed over 120 energy assessments for industry and commercial buildings.
